UPCOMING WEBINARS

GeneSifter provides tools to perform standard and advanced microarray data analysis using well-defined workflows. In both cases the goal is to rapidly identify genes that are differentially expressed in a statistically significant manner. Raw fold change is not informative. This improves the reliability of the observation and allows for the biological interpretation of the data, leading to the design of follow-up experiments. The basic analysis in GeneSifter is a pairwise comparison of two conditions, usually a control and a test, in our case normal tissue and tumor. The first thing you have to do is upload your data to GeneSifter. We have various tools to achieve this, depending on the source of your data. However, you do need to know if and how your data has been processed prior to upload. In most cases it also needs to be in a tab delimited text format.
