Analysis Summary:
The authors used microarray analysis (CodeLink mouse 10K array) to examine gene expression in the lacrimal gland of male and female BALB/c mice. Data analysis performed using GeneSifter demonstrates that significant sex-related differences exist in the expression of numerous genes in the lacrimal gland, supporting the hypothesis that sex-related differences in gene expression play a role in the sexual dimorphism of the lacrimal gland.
