Applications Specialist
VizX Labs is seeking candidates to fill an applications specialist position. The primary responsibilities for this position are providing world-class scientific and technical support for biomedical researchers using the GeneSifter microarray analysis platform. Additional duties include pre-sales demonstrations and training, usually done on-line, and representing company at scientific meetings and trade shows.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing scientific and technical assistance, demonstrating, and training via telephone, email, and on-line using presentation software such as WebEx
- Preparing and giving presentations demonstrating various aspects of company’s software
- Assisting in preparing documentation and training materials
- Occasional travel to scientific meetings, trade shows and on-site training
Qualification requirements:
- BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Biology or related field
- Strong computer and statistics skills
- Superior listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
Additional preference for experience in the following areas:
- Data Analysis Software
- Laboratory experience
- R statistical language
- QA
This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. Compensation is DOE.
